Organising your event in Singapore

Singapore is a wealthy and colourful city-state in Southeast Asia, famous for its dining, entertainment and shopping activities. A commercial giant, Singapore has the fourth-biggest financial centre and fifth biggest port in the world, and its connections to the rest of Asia make it a renowned hub for business and trade.

‘The Lion City’ was long colonial property of the British Empire, and endured Japanese occupation, but the city-state has now shaken off its troubled past and is embracing a cutting-edge modernity with open arms. It has become famous for stylish and extravagant hotels with world class facilities, many of which are available to be booked through Spacebase.

Singapore’s colonial history has given it an international flavor. This can be sampled through the city’s wide variety of restaurants which pull together culinary influences from Malaysia, China and India. It is not surprising then, that in recent years the city has reinvented itself from a dull flight stopover location into a vibrant playground for futuristic architecture, contemporary art and amazing horticulture. It is now an exciting international destination, whose sights are not to be missed.
