Description


Laban is a cutting-edge venue in the heart of South East London, close to the vibrant and historical town centre of Greenwich with good connections to central and south London.

As part of its facilities, the Laban offers auditorium rental of its main theatre. The Laban Theatre is a flexible creative space with seating for 294 in an intimate, tiered auditorium.
Impressive yet unassuming, the auditorium’s dark wood interior creates a ‘black box’ effect, providing an atmosphere ideal for creative events and performances. Hire space in the theatre for lectures, performances, conferences and training. The stage is also well-suited to film and photo shoots, having previously hosted the BBC’s live TV debate, Question Time.

The building itself was designed by Herzog and Meuron, the award winning Swiss architects celebrated for designing the Tate Modern and Olympic Stadium in Beijing.

Spacebase also offers other training and conference facilities for rent inside the Laban, such as its meeting rooms, studio and breathtaking outdoor green amphitheatre. Please note that price advertised does not include VAT.
