Organising your event in Tel Aviv
Tel Aviv is the second largest city in Israel and is certainly one of the country’s cultural highlights. The city sits on the Mediterranean coast of Israel, and although just 80km from Jerusalem, the religious antiquity and carved stone of the capital feels a world away from the thriving nightlife and cultural diversity of Tel Aviv.
A long beach promenade populated with cafes and strolling tourists runs parallel to the city, ensuring a relaxed atmosphere more reminiscent of the French and Italian Rivieras than the Middle East. Tel Aviv’s status as an international tourist destination means that the city has a culturally diverse feel, where English is widely spoken. The contrasting Arabic and European influences that make-up the city’s identity are visible in the stone architecture of the southern neighbourhood of Jaffa and the Bauhaus buildings of downtown Tel Aviv.
Tel Aviv’s reputation as the more cosmopolitan counterpoint to the Israeli capital is characterised by a thriving community of artists and diverse selection of contemporary restaurants. These combine with the city’s beachside location to give it a wonderfully relaxed and liberal atmosphere. The city boasts a unique variety of spaces for leisure and business events, from authentic cafes that serve the best in Mediterranean-Arabic fusion cuisine, to modern conference rooms with stunning ocean views. The rural character of olive groves and green foothills is not far and they offer venues such as beautiful villas and apartments available to hire.
