Located in a 19th century lock keepers cottage lovingly restored to its former glory (and then some) our space is tucked away at the end of Deansgate Locks, up Century Street and is one of Manchester’s little gems.
As you would expect from a cottage, the location is full of beautiful features and has a multitude of rooms that are perfect for all types of events such as birthday celebrations, product launches, networking events, wedding receptions and much more. With numerous bars, a canal side terrace, HD projectors with screens and a sound system that will take care of all your musical entertainment needs this truly is one of the most exclusive and secluded private hire spaces in Manchester. We can also take care of catering. For catering info is not shown here so you will have to enquire about it. But its easy, just send us a message on spacebase!
Over the 3 floors we serve an extensive selection of innovative cocktails, sharers, draught larger, real ales, cider, a varied bottle range and an elegant selection of wines.
We encourage everyone to sit long, talk lots and laugh often and we agree as there is no place quite like this, in fact you could call it home, find out for yourself.

Its recommend as a shooting and film location. ITS NOT! The Subway runs through the basement every 30 seconds and besides that, there was a leck in the ceiling and buckets for the water everywhere. I really don't feel like paying for this!!!
