The city is also home to an impressive selection of art galleries and museums, as well as many beautiful green spaces and parks.


Unique to Amsterdam are its beautiful selection of boats and barges, many of which can be rented for various purposes through Spacebase. For a city that is built on 165 canals, has over 100 kilometres of waterways and more bridges than Venice, there is no better way to soak up Amsterdam’s atmosphere than by boat.
